Green
River Lake Wildlife Management Area is located in Adair
and Taylor Counties. This 20,500-acre tract is
located along Green River Lake and is composed of both
bottomland and upland forests as well as agricultural
fields.
The 8200-acre lake provides ample opportunity for water
recreation as well as waterbird viewing. Camping and
lodging is offered at the Green River Lake State Resort
Park.
Directions
Green
River Lake WMA can be accessed by several routes. To
reach the Green River Lake State Park, head
southeast off of Hwy 55 onto Robin Road. Turn
southeast again onto Lone Valley Road, and turning
northeast on State Park Road will lead you to the State
Park. The roads are well marked with State Park
signs.
