Located
in Floyd County, this area encompasses approximately 9,870
acres of mountainous forestland. Primarily upland
forest, Dewey Lake WMA has scattered wildlife
openings. Camping is permitted on US Army Corps of
Engineers campgrounds along Dewey Lake.

River Lake WMA can be accessed off Hwy 194 approximately 6
miles east of Prestonburg.
